Tracing the history of the confluence of the Missouri and Yellowstone rivers, the center offers the same view that was enjoyed by Lewis and Clark's Corps of Discovery in 1804 and 1806. The center is located half a mile from the Fort Buford State Historic Site and is 25 miles southwest of Williston. Exhibits at the center interpret the area's geography, geology, prehistoric life and human settlement through more than 200 artifacts and temporary displays.
Open mid-May - mid-Sept: daily, 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.; mid-Sept - mid-May: Wed. - Sat., 9:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.; Sun., Sunday from 1 to 5:00 p.m.
Adults $5; Children 6-15 $2.50; Children 5 and under are free. Includes admission to Fort Buford State Historic Site.
